About

I was born in Moscow in 1989.

One day in May 2006, an old school friend and I decided to climb onto the roof of my 22-story apartment building. By sheer luck, the padlock wasn’t properly secured — its shackle was loose enough for us to twist it, slide the bolt, and push the door open.

A view from a newly built residential building just a couple of hundred meters from my house. There were lots of ads, but I managed to remove them with the healing brush tool. February 2010.

Eager for incredible views, I borrowed my elder brother’s fancy point-and-shoot camera. The second I stepped out and looked around, something clicked: it sparked two new passions in me — photography and rooftop climbing.

A girl with the wings. July 2009.

Two years later, my brother got married. By then I wasn’t just capturing cityscapes from heights; I’d started photographing people up there too. So I was honored to be at his wedding not just as a guest, but also as a photographer.

Not long after, my brother’s wife recommended me to a friend of hers who was getting married. That moment — being trusted to document someone else’s day — became my first real step into professional photography.

When the wind died down. June 2009.

Later, as I matured and ceased what we called “roofing”, cityscapes transitioned into classical urban shots. Also I realized that nothing matters more to me than capturing family moments, personal stories, and weddings. It has become my ultimate mission: preserving genuine emotions and irreplaceable memories that can be cherished by generations to come.
